What Is Product Liability?

If a manufacturer, distributor and / or supplier creates and sells a product that is dangerous or defective and that product causes someone to suffer injuries, the manufacturer, distributor and/or seller of the defective product can be liable for the injuries suffered. Products include everyday household or workplace items such as kitchen appliances, household appliances, industrial machinery, vehicles, medical devices, beauty products, children’s toys and recreational items.
